Electric Fence Testers
Anyone who has an electric fence should have a fence tester (voltage reader). An ordinary voltmeter won't read the charger's specialized output. But an electric fence tester like those below can do so. That allows one to troubleshoot fence problems. Two other useful troubleshooting devices below are a "night light" that hangs on the fence and tells whether the line is carrying proper voltage, and a fault finder that not only tests the voltage but also the current and that indicates the direction of a problem on the fence.
